"Skyward" Progress at the Health Center Site
The Mbale town engineer who visited the health center construction site last month approved of the work that has been done thus far. The ground floor of the building has been plastered and the windows and doors have been installed. Workers will soon cast the first floor slab.
This project has created jobs for over 50 workers from diverse backgrounds: Abayudaya Jews, Muslims, and Christians. Once it opens, the health center will serve all who need medical care. Creating jobs and providing life-saving health services are ways that the Abayudaya promote peace and cooperation with their neighbors.
